South Dayton's Daffodil Festival

Many activities are scheduled for the day, featuring a craft show with 60 vendors. 

One of the main events of the day will be a dessert contest.  Interested participants may bring a dessert in a non-returnable container along with the recipe, which must contain at least one of the following ingredients:  orange, banana, lemon, pineapple, maple syrup or chocolate.  Registration for the contest will be from 8:30 to 9:30am.  There are various groups for entrants, including adults, young adults between the ages of 12-16, and children 11 years old and younger.  Judging will occur at 10am.

Te Easter Bunny will be on hand to visit with children from 11am through 1pm.

A chicken and biscuit dinner will be served from 11am to 2pm with an adult dinner costing $6 and a child's porting costing $4.

The Little Big Band will play between 1 and 3pm.
