This promises to be a busy day at Pfeiffer Nature Center.

Cattaraugus County Bird Club Walk

First on the agenda, The Cattaraugus County Bird Club Walk from 8am - 11am at the Eshelman Property at 1420 Yubadam Road.  Now that the migrant birds are back and breeding is getting underway, it's a great time to explore bird watching.  Come out and enjoy the sights and sounds discovered in this exciting sport.  Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them.    This is a FREE program and the Public is welcome to attend!

FREE Nature Walk

Second on the agenda is a FREE Nature Walk from 9am - 11am on the Eshelman property at 1420 Yubadam Road.  Take in an easy walk through our retired farmlands observing the seasonal changes in our shrub wetland, mature meadow, creek and pond edges, and the mixed hardwood forest.  Suitable for all ages.

Collecting and Pressing Wildflowers

Lastly, is Collecting and Pressing Wildflowers.  You can capture the timeless beauty of wildflowers!  Learn how to select and press flowers.  Take home your own wildflower press and a beautiful craft project done with flower colors.  This educational class runs from 10:30am - 12:30pm and is $20 per person and will take place at 1974 Lillibridge Road.
