Hearts Content in western Pennsylvania.
Wondering About Wildflowers
Next, from 10:30am - 12:30 Wondering About Wildflowers will be held at the Lillibridge Property at 1974 Lillibridge Road. Wonder no more! During June, many wildflowers spring back to life. The old-growth forest and meadow will serve as backdrops during this gentle walk to enjoy and learn about some of our native wildflowers with a wildflower expert. Learn to identify local wildflowers using a dichotomous flower key. This program is $10 for the general public and $5 for Pfeiffer Nature Center members.
Know The Night Walk
Lastly, from 8pm - 10pm will be the Know The Night Walk held on the Eshelman property at 1420 Yubadam Road. Unlike humans, night creatures are well adapted to the dark. Come learn and experience these differences in adaptation while you walk our trail in the dark of night. Smell like the coyote, see like the owl! This program is not appropriate for children under the age of 5 and is $10 for the general public and $5 for Pfeiffer Nature Center members.
