FREE Nature Walk

9am - 10am at the Eshelman Property, 1420 Yubadam Road, there will be a FREE Nature Walk.  Take in an easy walk through our retired farmlands observing the seasonal changes in our shrub wetland, mature meadow, creek and pond edges, and the mixed hardwood forest.  Suitable for all ages.

Attracting Wildlife to Your Backyard

10:30am - 12:30pm You can learn the art of Attracting Wildlife To Your Backyard at the Lillibridge Property at 1974 Lillibridge Road.  Create a garden that attracts beautiful wildlife and provides a healthy space for your family to learn about and enjoy your wild neighbors.  We'll get you started by introducing the basics of creating habitat, use of local plants and trees, and show youhow to build simple wildlif shelters.  $20 includes native plants.

Owl Prowl and Night Walk

7pm - 9pm at the Lillibridge Property, 1974 Lillibridge Road, will be the annual Owl Prowl and Night Walk.   Join our wildlife rehabilitation specialist to learn about these elusive and beautiful creatures.  It's a fascinating upclose look at owls.  There will be a live bird display and hands on activities followed by a short hike into the dark night to call in native wild owls.  $10 for the general public and $5 for Pfeiffer Nature Center members.
