Full Moon Family Beach Party This Friday at Allegany State Park

The public is invited this Friday, August 13, to Allegany State Park for the 4th Annual Full Moon Beach Party for a fun and free evening for families. This year the 4th Annual Full Moon Beach Party will take place on Red House Beach from 6-10pm featuring live music by Kevin McCarthy, the Olean Blues Band, Generations. There will also be juggling and balloon entertainment by Dave Fultz of Gravitational Bull, face painting, kid crafts, and a limbo contest.  The concession stand will be open for those wanting to purchase dinner there or you can bring a picnic. The entire event is free, made possible in part by a donation from National Fuel, and is cosponsored by the Cattaraugus County Arts Council and Allegany State Park.

Available for sale at this event will be the new Cattaraugus County Arts Council “Lucky” Calendar. These calendars will help offset the current and anticipated cuts from the state and other funders. These calendars feature the artwork of more than 20 regional artists and give daily opportunities for cash back prizes.
