Leon Historical's Society 3rd Annual Extreme Cowboy Family Event, Fall Festival and Town Picnic 2011

Bring the entire family for food, beverages, horse drawn wagon rides and more at the Leon Fall Festival.

8am Registration - 9am Walk-Thru - 10am Race Begins

Entry Fee:  $20 per horse/rider.  Pre-register by Sept 21st Entry Fee $15 per horse/rider

75% paybacks to first 3 placings

5 Divisions:  Open, Intermediate, Novice Adult, Youth Riders under 18 years, and Novice Youth Riders under 18 years walk/trot only.  Winners of Open Division and Intermediate Division receive a new Reinsman Saddle. 

Wagon rides by Wandering River Ranch, prizes, food, drinks, homemade pies, Taste of Amish plus homemade ice cream and more!  "Town Picnic" will begin at 10 am.  Music will be performed from noon - 8pm with "Country Gospel Sound", "Slim Griffin and the Country Gentlemen", and "The Daily Planet".  Cruise in will take place at 2pm and there will be door prizes and a 50/50 raffle for cruisers.  Picnic dinner begins at 4pm.  Bring a dish to pass, table service and lawn chairs.  Great time for family and friends, so load up the horses and spend the day.

Visitors are invited to come early, browse and check out the happenings and goings on throughout the town.
