Silver Bells in the City of Salamanca, NY

The Salamanca Area Chamber of Commerce is preparing for its Annual Silver Bells Festival held in honor of Salamanca's own Ray Evans, lyricist of the famous Christmas song Silver Bells.Silver Bells has become a community favorite that is the perfect kick-off to the holiday season and holiday shopping.

December 3:  5:15 Lighting of the City in Jefferson Street Park

December 3:    7:30 pm  Madrigalia & Friends Holiday Performance  at Salamanca High School Auditorium 

December  3-4:   10 am – 5 pm Routes to Art Holiday Sale at Seneca Nation of Indians Administration Building 

December 7:    7:30 pm  “A Holiday of Music”  A Musical Revue performed by the 2nd graders at Prospect Elementary School at Salamanca High School Auditorium

December 10:   9 am – 4 pm  Holiday Craft Show at Seneca Elementary School

December 10:   9:30 – 11:30 am Breakfast with Santa at Myer’s Steakhouse & Inn

December 10 & 17:   12 – 3 pm Salamanca Rail Museum Holiday Express at Salamanca Rail Museum

December 11:   3 pm Christmas Cantata “I Hear the Prophet’s Calling” at United Congregational Methodist Church

December 13:   7 pm Middle School Band & Chorus Christmas Concert at Salamanca High School

December 14:   7 pm High School Band & Chorus Christmas Concert at Salamanca High School 

December 17 10 am – 12 pm 3rd Annual Reindeer Day at Victorian Pocket Park near Salamanca Historical Society
