The Seneca-Iroquois National Museum located at 814 Broad Street in Salamanca, NY is re-opening on June 9, 2012 from 10:00am-5:00pm.  The Museum has been closed temporarily since January for needed repair work of the concrete floor throughout the museum.  You are invited to stop in and see the slightly reconfigured interior of the Museum.  The Central Gallery and the Gift Shop has been enhanced as well.

Artist Robert Griffing, who lives in Gibsonia, PA, will be on-site at the Museum on June 9th from Noon-4:00pm.  He has a new painting that will be on display as well as for sale titled “A Man Called Corn Planter” (shown here) and other paintings including, “After the Trade.”  No admission fee will be charged on this day for this event.

Please stop in.  The welcoming staff will see that you have a pleasant experience and they hope you will share it with others.
