Bona Fest is an annual festival held at St. Bonaventure Church, a parish that is rooted in the Franciscan tradition. The festival falls on the second weekend of July and celebrates St. Bonaventure's feast day. Celebrated on Saturday, the Bonafest has enough food, music, games, and celebration to keep the whole family happy.
Live music includes: noon to 12:30pm by the Not Norman Band; 3 to 4pm by Allegany Alumni and Friends; from 5 to 7pm by Chordiac Arrest; and from 8 to 11pm by the Us Two and Company Band.
Other activities include a dunk tank, carnival games, field games and a scavenger hunt, basket raffles, 5K run/walk,
Cakes, cookies, breads and brownies will be available at the bake sale. Other food choices include pizza, snack items and meatball sandwiches.
