Racecars at the Mall

Are you a big racecar fan or just looking for something to do indoors?  See 14 different classed of racing machines at the Olean Mall. See karts to stock cars including classic and antique vehicles lining the halls of the Olean Center Mall all weekend long.  For the die-hards- Max Blair’s new Super Late Model will be there, plus dragsters and the record-setting motorcycle of Dan Oakes of Bradford.

See the cars, do a little shopping and even get the opportunity to get autographs from the drivers.  On Saturday starting at 1:00pm, a photo and autograph session will take place, followed by an awards ceremony.  Participants include Allegany Memorial Speedway and Rathbone Speedway go-kart tracks, Bradford Speedway, the new Freedom Speedway, Little Valley Speedway, McKean County Raceway and Wyoming County International Raceway and Empire Dragway of Leicester.

Most Residents are Amish in the Town of Leon

There are approximately 1,380 residents in Leon with the Amish Community comprising about 76% of that number. The Old Order Amish settled in Leon in 1949. They do not believe in the modern conveniences. They have no electricity in their homes + travel by horse and buggy. 

If you are looking for someplace interesting to go, try the Leon area. It is right in the heart of Amish Country.
