Maple Weekends 2017

What better way to spend a day with family and friends at that at the 21st Annual Maple Weekend™ on March 18-19 and March 25-26, 2017 from 10am-4pm each day presented by the New York State Maple Producers Association.  About 110 maple producers across New York will be hosting open houses for the public to see how maple syrup and other related products are made. This family-oriented event is sure to delight visitors of all ages.

Boberg's Maple - Open Sat, Sun both Maple Weekends

Come visit their sugarhouse and see maple sugaring in action. You can taste samples of the maple products they make. They will have various maple products for sale.

Maple Glen Sugar House - Open Sat, Sun both Maples Weekends.  Additional weekend tours available in March via reservation. 
2266 Gowanda Zoar Road, Gowanda, NY  716-532-5483                                                                                                            You're invited to try their famous maple hot dogs and tour the new Sugar House.  The sugar house tour starts at ground level.  The top floor overlooks the evaporator under a large cathedral ceiling. The oil-fired evaporator, reverse osmosis machine, filter press and stainless tanks are all under one roof.  Weekend demonstrations include how maple syrup, maple cream, maple popcorn and maple sugar candy are made.  Visiting Maple Glen will surely be one of your most talked about and remembered stops on Maple Weekend.

Moore's Maple Shack & Pancake House - Open Sat, Sun both Maple Weekends.  Additional hours throughout March and April for the Pancake House include March 1- April 16th: Tues-Fri from 9am to 6pm, Sat & Sun from 8am to 6pm.

The Moore family opens their Pancake House and Sugar Shack each March through April. Their 4000-tap maple operation uses tubing and man-made vacuum. They use a reverse osmosis unit, a steam-away, and a high efficiency oil-fired arch. Connected to the sugar shack is the pancake house where you can get an "all-you-can eat" buttermilk pancake breakfast. They will be offering samples of their maple products and, weather permitting, you can catch a wagon ride to the sugarbush.

Wright Farms, Inc. - Open Sat, Sun both Maple Weekends
9136 Laidlaw Rd., Farmersville, NY  716-474-7474                                                                                              Family-owned Wright Farms has been in business since 1840, with five generations of Wrights producing maple syrup and maple products on the farm. Currently there are over 8000 taps. A modern sugarhouse containing a 6x16 wood fired evaporator with an energy saving steamaway system is used to produce 1100 to 1300 gallons of pure maple syrup each year. They will serve jack wax (sugar on snow) throughout the day.

Sprague's Maple Farms - Open Sat, Sun both Maple Weekends.  NOTE - These events are offered every weekend in March at Sprague's.  
1048 Portville-Obi Rd., Portville, 716-933-6637                                                                                                   Year-round, full service restaurant, featuring breakfast all day and many other menu selections which include their 100% pure maple syrup. Maple production tours and demonstrations in both authentic old-fashioned sugar house and state-of-the-art production facility. Wagon rides to the sugarhouse for tastings, maple cake donuts, maple cotton candy, and sugar on snow. Gift shop featuring all their maple products, a large variety of country gift items, and Sprague's Maple Farm gift cards for use in the restaurant and gift shop.
