The Amish Cottage at Eagle's Rest Farm is a quiet retreat nestled in the heart of the Amish community. The cottage has been the first home to five young Amish couples and their babies. Electricity and plumbing have been added for your convenience
As you sit back on the porch swing in summer, you will begin to refresh your senses. Enjoy the sound of the horses, clip-clopping along pulling a buggy or the smell of new mown hay as farmers work with their teams.
The fresh air, the peace and quiet of the Old Order Amish Community makes you feel as if you traveled back to a time when life was simpler. See bare foot children going to a one room school, long lines of laundry and quilts hung to dry, milk cows in the pastures and frisky foals in the spring.
Enjoy home made baked goods, or breakfast fresh eggs right from the chickens, butter and jam on fresh baked bread.
