If you're looking for expert horse care or training in a state-of-the-art facility, Nash Hill Equestrian Center is the place for you.  Nash Hill Equestrian Center boasts a 42 stall barn, huge outdoor arena, indoor round pen, hot walker and a 100 x 200 heated arena for exceptional year-round training and riding. In addition to being a full-service training stable with top-quality instruction, their services include youth and non-pro instruction and helping with show preparations in western pleasure, hunter under saddle, all horsemanship and equitation classes, all game classes, western riding and reining. They always accept horses for training and showing and have horses for sale and lease at all times.

Your club or organization can also rent the facilities for horse shows, clinics or events.

Meaning of the word Cattaraugus

CATTARAUGUS, from a Seneca Indian word meaning “bad smelling banks,” referring to the odor of natural gas leaking from rock seams. http://www.dos.ny.gov/info/pdfs/countynames.pdf

The word "Cattaraugus" means "foul-smelling river bank." This name is a result of the natural gas that oozes from the river mud. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cattaraugus_Creek.
