The Chamber of Commerce in Arcade is offering adventure to early season anglers with their third annual Tri-County Trout Derby set for the Upper Cattaraugus Creek, April 22 and 23. All New York State fishing regulations must be followed.

Come join us for a beautiful flat water paddle on the Cattaurgus creek. This paddle meet up will meet at the Adventure Bound onthefly shop in Ellicottville at 10:00 a.m. and then depart for the put in. Wear synthetic apparel that is quick drying and bring a snack to enjoy on the river shore.
The Allegany Nature Pilgrimage began in 1959 and was attended by 70 participants. From those humble beginnings, the event has grown and has been going strong for over 50 years.
Now organized by volunteers from four nature-loving organizations, the annual event is held at Allegany State Park on the weekend after Memorial Day and it draws hundreds of participants.
