The Spring Rafting Season in Zoar Valley opens in March with the spring runoff and lasts until late May or early June as the water level becomes too low. The best white water action can normally be had through April, depending of course on the amount of rainfall.

Rumor has it that white water rafting season is beginning and the water should be great this weekend!

There is a canoe/kayak race in the morning but the majority of competitors are in it "for fun" with contests for best decorations and more!
