The Spring Rafting Season in Zoar Valley opens in March with the spring runoff and lasts until late May or early June as the water level becomes too low. The best white water action can normally be had through April, depending of course on the amount of rainfall.

Great Valley's Annual Regatta

Sponsored yearly by the Great Valley Volunteer Fire Company, this 14 mile regatta is fun for spectators and participants.

There is a canoe/kayak race in the morning but the majority of competitors are in it "for fun" with contests for best decorations and more!
