Playwright and actress Libby Skala will perform her one-woman show “Lilia!” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at St. Bonaventure University’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. It is the sixth performance in the Friends of Good Music’s 2017-18 performance season.
This event was originally scheduled for January 28 and has been rescheduled for February 17. A day for the community to get out of the house and gather to enjoy a day of competition and friendship in a most northernly way.... CURLING!
Get out of the house and come join in the fun as Allegany State Park continues its series of hikes called “3rd Saturday Treks.” As the name implies, these free, family-friendly hikes will take place on the 3rd Saturday of each month all year long.

7 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at the Rathskeller on campus: Jazz 'n' Wings with The Les Sabina Septet. Outside of the classroom, Sabina is an award-winning composer and accomplished saxophonist. He and his septet, some of the best jazz musicians in the region, will play contemporary jazz as chicken wings are served up, courtesy of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts.
Friends of Good Music presents "Fire and Grace: Virtuoso Violin meets Celtic Guitar". Canadian-born violinist Edwin Huizinga has established himself as one of North America's most versatile violinists. Grammy award winning guitarist William Coulter has been performing and recording traditional and classical music for more than 25 years.
7 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, at the Quick Center: LanDforms. This dance and performance art duo is composed of Leah Crosby, a creative dance teacher on Martha's Vineyard, and Danielle Evelena Doell, a dance performance artist based in Seattle, Wash. Both are fine arts graduates of Ohio University, where they met.
7 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, at the Quick Center: Sal Andolina's Bistro Musica. This performance of European café music features Sal Andolina, clarinetist with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, BPO Concertmaster Dennis Kim on violin, and Dr. Albert Schlisserman on accordion. "These are virtuoso performers," said Sabina. "It should be an excellent and fun concert."
Friends of Good Music presents "Windsync"! Hailed by the Houston Chronicle as "revolutionary chamber musicians," WindSync is internationally recognized for dramatic and engaging interpretations of classical music.
Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino will present a blockbuster evening of Country Music when the Roots & Boots tour featuring superstars Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin and Collin Raye rolls into the Seneca Allegany Events Center on Saturday, April 28th at 7pm!

The Bikes are back in town! Gowanda Harley Davidson, and the "Enchanted Mountain Motorcycle Enthusiasts" will be hosting the 16th Annual Rally in the Valley Aug. 15-19 in Allegany's Firemans Park.
Proceeds from the event benefit a host of community charities.
