Through presentations, education, butterfly releases, and native plant distribution, Eastern Monarch Butterfly Farm is changing the way we view our landscaping. The Monarch Butterfly is a symbol of nature in America, a symbol of clean water, clean air and natural habitat. Pollinators are essential for helping to make the food we eat every day.
Pfeiffer Nature Center is pleased to announce our photography contest and show! There are four categories for entries: Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer! This contest is open to all ages.
The annual Walk in the Arboretum is scheduled for Sunday, September 24, 2017, 12:30 – 3:30. This is FREE! Guided tours are provided covering various features throughout the arboretum: Crab Apple Collection, Confer Collection.
Delight in an afternoon of nature with your children or grandchildren at the Lillibridge preserve while engaging in many fun fall activities. Enjoy cider and doughnuts, “train” rides, pumpkin decorating, arts and crafts, and trick or treating along the interpretive trail. Costumes are encouraged to add to the fun!
