Most trails are in VERY GOOD condition and should be great for riding for the next several days.
Allegany State Park reports snowmobile trails are in VERY GOOD condition. Daytime grooming operations are ongoing. Riders accessing Allegany State Park via the Casino snowmobile trail should note there is a section of road shoulder riding that is necessary on ASP Route 1 near the Summit Area. Use caution and follow signage and stay on the designated snowmobile route. Snowmobiles are NOT permitted in the Cross Country Ski Area. One reminder for the Park, "Riding snowmobiles at Allegany State Park after dark requires a permit from the Park Police located in the Red House Administration Building." Questions? Snowbounders report that Trail S-36 in Ashford leading to Riley's, is officially closed. The trail leading to South Dayton is closed as well. They want to remind everyone that it is considered trespassing to ride on trails that have been closed by a club.

ALL OF THE CLUBS want to remind riders to stay within the stakes on the trails. This is for your safety as well as to keep landowners happy. Without landowners, we wouldn't have trails!
Snow is in the forecast for Saturday night into Sunday and cold temperatures continue.
The season is winding down and this could be some of the best riding of the season!!
