2018 South Dayton Summer Tractor Pull

Dirt will be flying at the Fall Tractor Pull in South Dayton just past the 4th of July for their summer tractor pull, located on the South Dayton Fireman's Grounds.  Chicken BBQ will be held at the Fire Hall. 

On Friday, July 6th, come and see the tractor displays.  Gates open at 3pm, scales open at 5pm, and Pull begins at 7pm.  On Saturday, July 7th, gates open at 9am, scales open at 10am, bring the kids for 11am kid's pedal pull, before the Pull begins at 12pm.  On Sunday, July 8th, gates open at 9am, scales open at 10am, Rodeo Games before the Pull begins at 12pm.  Chicken BBQ starts at 12pm, as well as a Tractor Parade (on grounds). 

See the flyer for weight classes, years of tractors, and schedule.  Admission cost is $5 and there is a $10 hitch fee/class.  All proceeds benefit the South Dayton Fire Department.  Drivers under 16 yars must have parental consent.

Clare Mark is the highest elevation in Cattaraugus County

The highest point in Cattaraugus County is Clare Mark, at 2,430 feet.  This mount, in the Town of Allegany off Chipmunk Road, is privately owned, and does not have public access for hiking.  Nearby attractions are Rock City Park and Allegany State Park.
