WINTER SNOWSHOE HIKES -4:30 PM-  Join in every Tuesday evening for a trek into the sunset at Allegany State Park. Beginning January 8th, Park Naturalists will lead interpretive snow shoe treks, weather depending, or hikes along the summit ridgeline on Bear Paw Trail. Witness a breath-taking winter sunset at Stone Tower, then make your way back to the Summit Warming Hut for an after trek social. This 2.3-mile trail is easy-moderate with some slight elevation changes. Be sure to dress for the weather, bring a flashlight, snack, and a sense of adventure. Need snowshoes?  No problem, we have several pairs to rent for FREE!   Please call to reserve snowshoes by noon the day of each hike.
