Celebrate Mothers at the Onöhsagwë:de’ Cultural Center all day on Mother's Day. The Seneca are a matrilineal society so taking Mom to see the new Cultural Center is the perfect way to celebrate her. There will be a special tour of influential women in Iroquois history.

In addition, there will be a special emphasis on mothers/women in the exhibit gallery and also special gifts for purchase for moms.

There are approximately 1,380 residents in Leon with the Amish Community comprising about 76% of that number. The Old Order Amish settled in Leon in 1949. They do not believe in the modern conveniences. They have no electricity in their homes + travel by horse and buggy.
