HO! HO! HO! The holidays are fast approaching and there's no better way to get into the spirit than by spending some time in Allegany State Park. Join the Environmental Education Department on Saturday, December 2nd for a fun, festive, family event- Saturday with Santa!

Gowanda is a a beautifully quaint community nestled among the hills surrounding Cattaraugus Creek and is coming together for a Christmas Celebration. Come help start off the holiday season downtown with local merchants, train rides all day, Annual tree lighting ceremony, Holiday Spirit Parade and a festive atmosphere for the whole family.

Santa Claus will be back in the Town of Olean at his cottage in Lincoln Park on December 6th and December 13th from 5:30-8:30 pm.

Kids can leave letters for Santa in a mailbox outside his cottage created by families of the EvenStart program. Kids will also receive a small treat from Mrs. Claus!

Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels Free Tours available on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Fridays of the month. No reservations necessary. Come and discover the beauty of the southern tier's Basilica of St.

Santa Claus will be back in the Town of Olean at his cottage in Lincoln Park.  Despite being so busy this time of year, Santa will wave at kids through the window of his cottage on December 8th and December 13th from 5:30-7:30 pm.

Join us on a fun and festive Christmas train ride where the kids get to meet Santa! He might even have gifts for all the boys and girls!

New Gear’s Eve Bike Ride begins at Camp Allegany on December 31, 2023 at 6:00 pm, with the ride starting at 6:30 pm. Grab your bike and some friends to join Park staff and WNYMBA members for the last ride of the year. Bring lights, wear warm and reflective gear and a helmet. Participants may be split into different paced groups, if necessary.

Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at the Administration Building at 11:00 am on January 1, 2024.  The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. Participants may split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind.
