Marino's Pizzeria

A pizzeria with options for those that don't like pizza! Recently opened (Nov 2018) in the old Napoli's location, the building has a fresh new look with new ceiling tiles, new equipment, and new paint throughout.  The business was started by John Marino (operates the Allegany State Park Restaurant) and his sister, hence the name.

The dough is air tossed and there are numerous topping choices, including gourmet pizzas.  Calzones, pastas, appetizers, fish fry Fridays, and catering are available as well.  There is dine-in, pick up, or free delivery (limited area, min purchase).

Meaning of the word Cattaraugus

CATTARAUGUS, from a Seneca Indian word meaning “bad smelling banks,” referring to the odor of natural gas leaking from rock seams. http://www.dos.ny.gov/info/pdfs/countynames.pdf

The word "Cattaraugus" means "foul-smelling river bank." This name is a result of the natural gas that oozes from the river mud. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cattaraugus_Creek.

In our opinion, only some of the river banks are bad smelling. Come on over and visit a creek in Cattaraugus County and tell us what you think.
