The Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce and city leadership are inviting the community out for a night on the town. Working with the city and members of the business community, the Chamber is announcing “StrOlean,” the event aims to bring folks to the downtown shopping district for an evening of fun. 

Join the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts in welcoming the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and JoAnn Falletta on Sunday, September 21st, at 3pm.

Expect a powerful performance that promises an evening of moving music and world-class musicianship!

Showtime is Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 3pm. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for senior citizens and SBU staff and faculty, and $5 for students. 

Through the generosity of the community businesses and organizations listed below, the City of Olean Youth Bureau & Recreation Department is offering free admission for public ice skating. There is a $4.00 skate rental fee.

Each session is tailored to meet individual skill levels, helping every student grow and refine their technique. You’ll choose from a selection of pre-drawn nature-themed outlines to paint, allowing you to focus on developing your watercolor skills without the pressure of drawing. All supplies are provided, and your finished artwork will be ready to frame in an 8” x 10” frame.

Event Details:

Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at the Administration Building at 11:00 am on January 1, 2024. The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. Participants may split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. Fat tire bikes are suggested, given the range of conditions likely to be present, however, use your best judgement for the conditions of the day.
