The Southern Tier Catholic School PTA will be hosting a Craft Fair on Saturday, June 20th from 10am - 3pm at the Southern Tier Catholic School on 921 N Union St, Olean, NY. 

This FREE event is rain or shine and contains indoor and outdoor vendors.

Join Ellicottville Distillery for their annual Christmas Tree Bonfire on Saturday, January 18th! 

The doors open at 12 pm. Enjoy live music by Tina Williams from 5 pm to 8 pm, with the bonfire lighting at around 6 pm.

Join in for a summer-long celebration of community and sound. Whether you're a local or just passing through, the Music in the Park series offers the perfect midweek escape with live performances from a rotating lineup of talented artists. 

Music in the Park is held each Wednesday from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. at the Park Street Gazebo on Park Ave, South Dayton. The music plays regardless of the forecast.

Get Ready for a Fun Ride!  Join Allegany State Park for a Bike Rodeo on July 17th at the Red House Picnic Shelter from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.! 

Bring your little cyclists for an afternoon of fun and skill-building at our specially designed bike course. Our Bike Rodeo is the perfect place for kids to test their bike handling skills, build confidence, and have a blast!  

What to Expect:

Celebrate the Holiday Season with a Living Nativity, complete with a camel, all in the Village. Ellicottville's A Christmas Stroll was created in 1987 by a group of citizens who wanted to organize such an event in the village. After brainstorming over coffee, it was decided that they wanted a live nativity scene with children dressed as angels and shepherds, who walked around the village and met at the gazebo. There, the baby Jesus was presented and caroling presided. The tradition has continued on for the past 37 years.

What is a Worm moon? Or a Sugar moon? Learn about the bright orb in the night sky on Tuesday, March 3rd. 

Meet in the Red House Administration building at 5:30. Wear warm clothes, appropriate footwear, and bring a flashlight.

The Haunted Hinsdale House presents this exclusive Overnight Ghost Hunt at 8pm and it will run until 9am the next day. Your all inclusive experience will include a tour of the grounds and inside the historic building. You will get history and stories from your guide, as well as use of some ghost hunting equipment to see if we can connect with the other side. If you have your own ghost hunting equipment they highly recommend that you bring it.

The Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce and city leadership are inviting the community out for a night on the town. Working with the city and members of the business community, the Chamber is announcing “StrOlean,” the event aims to bring folks to the downtown shopping district for an evening of fun. 

Join the fun at Hunter Hill Farm on November 9th from 10 AM to 2 PM for a festive Christmas Tree Pottery Class with Tara from TShed Pottery!

TShed Pottery, run by Tara, is renowned for its unique and handcrafted pottery pieces. Celebrated for her creativity and quality, Tara’s classes are both educational and enjoyable. Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at the Administration Building at 11:00 am on January 1, 2024. The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. Participants may split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. Fat tire bikes are suggested, given the range of conditions likely to be present, however, use your best judgement for the conditions of the day.

Join Citizens Preparedness Corps on November 22nd at 1:00pm in the Camp Allegany Classroom for a free training session. Learn how to make a family emergency plan, build a go-bag, and stay safe during natural disasters.

Get ready for a spine-tingling celebration!  Join Wildwood's 8th birthday bash on Saturday, June 28th from 6pm-11:55pm. There will be cake (at 6pm), spooky stories, and a chance to dive into the unknown with Kristie London's gallery reading (at 7:00pm). Then, grab your flashlight and join the investigation!  Proceeds will help the Wildwood Crew raise the roof (literally!) on their garage to fix some needed repairs and will eventually give guests a whole new area to explore.
