Ready to Roll? Grab your fat bike and join in for a series of Friday night fun rides this winter at Allegany State Park! These casual group rides are the perfect way to get outside, meet other riders, and enjoy the parks beautiful winter trails under the stars!

Join Gowanda for a great day in the village filled with classic cars, community, and fun for the whole family! Whether you’re showing off your ride or just coming to check them out, this is always one of Gowanda’s favorite events of the year.

Entry Fee: $15 per vehicle

Stroll through rows of beautiful cars, meet local owners, and enjoy a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere right in the heart of Gowanda. There will be plenty to see and something for everyone!

New Gear’s Eve Bike Ride begins at Camp Allegany on December 31 2024 at 6:00 p.m., with the ride starting at 6:30 p.m. Grab your bike and some friends to join Allegany staff and other fat bike enthusiasts for the last ride of the year. Bring lights, wear warm and reflective gear and a helmet. Participants may be split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. There will be a social to follow the ride in the Rec Hall at Camp Allegany. Bring your own snacks.

If you’re a first responder, enjoy a free roundtrip train ride from Gowanda, NY, to South Dayton and back. A 30-minute layover in the village of South Dayton lets you explore the vendors in the area, such as farmers, baked goods, and crafts. All first responders ride for free!

Want to work off some of the turkey or treats; or just spend some time outdoors with other biking families? Join us as we take an evening ride along the Red House Bike Path. Meet at Camp Allegany at 6:15 pm with the ride starting at 6:30 pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult and wear a helmet.  You do not have to have a fat bike for this ride, but you will need a headlamp or a bike light. Please, no balance bikes, or bikes with training wheels.

Join the Little Valley Riders Club for a fun-filled evening of square dancing, country, and fifties music on May 25th, 2025, from 7 pm to 11 pm! 

It's a family-friendly event, so bring the kids along. Feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks. No horses required – just come for the dance and good times!

Gowanda’s Historic Hollywood Theatre proudly presents Cami Clune & The Fringe in The Taylor Swift Experience!

Cami Clune, who captivated audiences on The Voice with her stunning performances and earned a four-chair turn, will be lighting up the Hollywood Theatre stage on Saturday, November 2nd at 7:00 PM. Hailing from Buffalo, NY, Cami is a versatile singer, songwriter, and actress. She gained national fame as a semi-finalist on Season 19 of The Voice.

Gowanda is a a beautifully quaint community nestled among the hills surrounding Cattaraugus Creek and is coming together for a Christmas Celebration. Come help start off the holiday season downtown with local merchants, train rides all day, Annual tree lighting ceremony, Holiday Spirit Parade and a festive atmosphere for the whole family. Of course we can not forget that Santa and all his helpers will be there to help us celebrate this joyous time of year! Mark your calendars!

Meet at the Administration Building at 11:00 am on January 1, 2024. The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. Participants may split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. Fat tire bikes are suggested, given the range of conditions likely to be present, however, use your best judgement for the conditions of the day.

Fasten your sleigh-belts for Gowanda Community Theater's season finale - The Little Town of Christmas! This series of short plays is filled with festive entertainment as part of Christmas in Gowanda 2025!
