The Tri-County Arts Council is hosting a Butternut Squash Turkey Carving workshop with the renowned artist and TV personality, Eric Jones! Join Eric on November 12th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and learn the intricacies of carving from a master. Ages 12 and up are welcome.

In this class you will use a variety of different strokes and colors, learning how to blend and layer colors to create stunning still life paintings that you will surely be proud of!

There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. Perfect for both bourbon enthusiasts and beginners, this tasting class is a celebration of indulgence and camaraderie.

What to Expect:

Join ASP at the Beehunter Picnic Pavilion to capture the beautiful colors of fall with a water coloring painting class. No experience is necessary. Enjoy a full moon walk and learn about the changing of the moon phases.

Pfeiffer Nature Center will be hosting a Wildflower Walk on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026 at 2:00 pm. 

Come out and explore the local wildflowers with an easy kid-friendly walk through the fields and forest while learning how to identify blooming plants using field guides on Pfeiffer's Eshelman property on 1420 Yubadam Rd in Portville. 

A $5 donation is appreciated.

Did you know National Beaver Day is April 7th? 

To celebrate these industrious engineers, Allegany Educators invite you for a Beaver Nature Walk at Allegany State Park on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 at 1:00pm. 

Meet up at Camp Allegany to start the trek to learn about the amazing Beaver and their impact on the park's ecosystem! 

On August 25th The Wild Wing Festival will be held with music by the Rustic Ramblers and food from 12-4 pm. There will be guided tours of all the birds in the 6-acre aviary. You will have a guided tour of the birds and learn about the 78 different species. 

Cost is $10/ adults per person and $5 for children under 12. Food will be served by Lil's Deli including Pizza, Chicken fingers, Fries, Cookies, etc.

 Dining tents will be available in case of rain. Please bring your lawn chairs.
