What is WILMA Woolly Bear Weekend?

It's not your average craft show! All vendors at this event are local business owners, manufacturers, artisans, or crafters from Cattaraugus County.

Explore the fascinating world of fungi with Pfeiffer Nature Center. 

The guided walk will help you identify and learn about the various mushrooms you'll find in the forest. 

All skill levels welcome! Come discover the hidden wonders of the fungal kingdom.

Join in on this great opportunity to learn about migratory species and birding as a hobby with a birding walk.

Join for a great morning walk along the beautiful property at Pfeiffer Nature Center, fun for all ages! 

MEET AT 8:00AM AT THE ESHELMAN PROPERTY AT PFEIFFER NATURE CENTER

Kick off the summer on June 21st, 2025 when all of Main Street in Little Valley will be closed for the inaugural Little Valley Community Day! Over 30 vendors will fill the street along with food trucks, family activities, children's games, live music, bounce houses and more! The event will run from 1pm until 9pm. This is a rain or shine event.

Come celebrate the proud history and traditions of Native American people at Seneca Allegany Casino. Shop Native crafters & artisans and enjoy traditional Indigenous dance.

If you’re a first responder, enjoy a free roundtrip train ride from Gowanda, NY, to South Dayton and back. A 30-minute layover in the village of South Dayton lets you explore the vendors in the area, such as farmers, baked goods, and crafts. All first responders ride for free!

Get in the holiday spirit and unleash your creativity as you decorate delicious cookies with a variety of colorful frostings, sprinkles, and edible decorations. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned baker, this hands-on workshop is perfect for all ages and skill levels.

During the workshop, you'll learn tips and tricks from Cupcaked Bakery, who will guide you through different techniques to create beautiful and unique designs. It's a great opportunity to spend quality time with loved ones, make new friends, and take home some scrumptious treats to share.

Any year tractor is welcome.

Experience the rich cultural heritage of the Haudenosaunee (Seneca) people through art, craft, and storytelling on August 12th, starting at 1pm at the Quaker Picnic Shelter at Allegany State Park. 

Join Bernadette Scott, a proud Haudenosaunee (Seneca) woman and member of the Deer Clan, for an afternoon of traditional Seneca art and culture. Learn about the art and history behind traditional crafts like cornhusk dolls, flowers, baskets, and Haudenosaunee social dancing and even try your hand at making your own corn husk doll!
