Visit the Fannie Bartlett House on July 12th for their "Vintage Fashion Show" event! It will feature "uniforms" of all kinds and period women's dress to go along with military years. Presale tickets are available for $20.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.

HoliMont Contractor’s Day is an event filled with many fun activities that take place on and off the slopes.  This year’s activities include the 36th annual Dave Pitkin Memorial Ski Race, dedicated to him to commemorate his enduring spirit, his contributions to the HoliMont Racing Club, and his part in creating the racing hill, Our infamous Bombardier Ball Drop, Lunch provided by Dina’s at the Mont, A vendor market, and an Apres Ski Party. The Enchanted Mountains Horse Series returns for a full weekend of equestrian action and community spirit. This series offers a fantastic family-friendly atmosphere for competitive riders and spectators alike, featuring a variety of events for all to enjoy.

The Challenger Learning Center in Allegany is hosting a magical event where kids, and parents, can dress up as their favorite wizards and participate in over 30 STEAM activities on October 26th, from 5:30-7:30pm.

Join Next Level Mountain Biking for the first "bike" of the year! 

Meet at Camp Allegany at 11am on January 1st, 2026. The pace and length of the ride will be moderate or determined by the riders. Participants may split into two different groups so that no one gets left behind. 

Fat Tire bikes are advised, given the conditions of the trails that may be present. 

Jamestown Paranormal will be hosting Paracon '24 (a Paranormal Convention) Saturday, September 28th from 12-6pm at Gowanda's historic Hollywood Theater. 

Admission is $5/person at the door, all ages welcome!
