This event was originally scheduled for August 6th, but has been moved to Saturday, August 20th so that Chef Garrett Taylor can be available to share his knowledge of mushrooms.
You will learn which mushroooms are harmful and which are helpful to both plants and humans. Enjoy a walk through the cool old growth forest hunting the numerous species of fungi that grow there.
The cost is $10 for the general public and $5 for Pfeiffer Nature Center members. Please register by August 13th by calling the office at 716-933-0187 or e-mailing naturalist [at] pfeiffernaturecenter [dot] org.
