Sharpen Your Pruning Skills with Pfeiffer Nature Center
With Spring just around the corner, learn proper pruning and tree care with Pfeiffer Nature Center who is hosting Pruning 101, a beginners workshop on how to prune your young yard trees. This workshop will be lead by Master Forest Owner, Joe Schueckler. Mr. Schueckler will provide an overview of proper pruning techniques, including when to prune, how to prune, and how best to protect your trees after pruning. This will be a hands-on event and attendees will be given a chance to practice pruning young trees on his property. Nothing beats hands-on experience when you are learning how to prune trees! So all attendees are encouraged to bring gloves, hand pruners, and/or loppers.
