The main house offers six luxury guest rooms, each with its own full bath.  Along with custom decor features that include some antiques, each room is furnished with a fireplace, air conditioning and cable TV.  A small cottage that adjoins the house is also offered; it includes the same amenities along with its own kitchen.  The backyard year-round hot tub, seasonal in-ground swimming pool, patio lounge, upstairs sitting room, downstairs fireplace lounge and dining room are there for all to enjoy.

Meaning of the word Cattaraugus

CATTARAUGUS, from a Seneca Indian word meaning “bad smelling banks,” referring to the odor of natural gas leaking from rock seams. http://www.dos.ny.gov/info/pdfs/countynames.pdf

The word "Cattaraugus" means "foul-smelling river bank." This name is a result of the natural gas that oozes from the river mud. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cattaraugus_Creek.
