Pleasant Valley Greenhouse has been open for the past 25 years!!! Owner, Dan Evans has an associates degree, from Alfred State College, in ornamental horticulture, major of floriculture. The greenhouse business hours vary with each season. The key to Pleasant Valley Greenhouse’s success is their four key sales staff. The staff, all have been with Pleasant Valley Greenhouse for at least 15 years each, and they know the plants and trees that thrive in our area.

Most Residents are Amish in the Town of Leon

There are approximately 1,380 residents in Leon with the Amish Community comprising about 76% of that number. The Old Order Amish settled in Leon in 1949. They do not believe in the modern conveniences. They have no electricity in their homes + travel by horse and buggy.
