The Nannen Arboretum Society of Ellicottville, NY is proud to present the first of the 2018 educational classes for the general public. Education is an integral part of the mission of the Nannen Arboretum Society. The initial presentation will be given by Tim Baird on Wednesday March 21 at 6pm at the Town Center (28 Parkside) in Ellicottville, NY.

It is very important to involve children in Earth Day events as they have the most important stake in keeping our planet healthy into the future.

Enjoy a visit to the Pfeiffer cabin which is listed on the national and state registers of historic places. The American Chestnut cabin is a very well preserved specimen of rustic style whose basic integrity has remained unchanged since its 1939/1940 construction. The cabin is a true gem of the Lillibridge preserve and an indoor exploration is not to be missed!
Open Sundays in July and August 2-5 P.M. Guided tours of all the birds in the beautiful landscaped park. Over 700 flying geese, ducks and swans, over 200 baby waterfowl, 70 different species, including endangered, protected and exotic.
"The Rubber Ducky Festival" will be held at our Sanctuary on Sunday July 29 with rubber duck races and tours of the all the birds. Music and food will be provided.
Pfeiffer Nature Center is pleased to announce our photography contest and show! There are four categories for entries: Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer! This contest is open to all ages.
Join Allegany State Park as they celebrate National Public Lands Day with their 14th year of participation! National Public Lands Day is our nation’s largest one-day event designed to give people a chance to give back to the public lands they love by volunteering for a few hours on a variety of service projects that enhance both the park and the visitor experience.
Delight in an afternoon of nature with your children or grandchildren at the Lillibridge preserve while engaging in many fun fall activities. Enjoy cider and doughnuts, “train” rides, pumpkin decorating, arts and crafts, and trick or treating along the interpretive trail. Costumes are encouraged to add to the fun!
