April calls for spring cleaning, and the Allegany State Park Historical Society invites the community to help get the Quaker Museum and St. John’s Chapel ready for the season on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at 1:00pm!
Lend a hand with some dusting, vacuuming, and light cleaning to freshen up these two historic gems. The cleanup will last approximately 90 minutes. Cleaning supplies like shop vacs, rags, and dusting tools are welcome, though some will be provided on-site.
Stick around afterward for a community cookout! The grill will be fired up with food and beverages provided. Anyone wishing to bring a dish or snack to share is welcome to do so.
This is a great opportunity to connect with neighbors, enjoy some great food, and support the preservation of the park's history. Everyone is welcome!
