Art and Conservation at Pfeiffer Nature Center

Explore how visual art and conservation can benefit one another in this talk by Federal Duck Stamp artist Jennifer Miller. Jennifer will describe her experiences with the Federal Duck Stamp and share her passion for reaching out with her work to inspire the public to care about the natural world.  Learn how a love of nature can blossom into a passion and an unusual, adventurous and rewarding, career!

This event will be held at The Portville Free Library, 2 North Main Street, Portville, New York 14770.  Fee:  Free for members, $5 for non-members and free for children 13 and under.  Minors must be accompanied by an adult.  Register by 4 PM, Tuesday, April 16th, 2019.  Sign up on the programs Calendar on our website at www.pfeiffernaturecenter.org or contact the office at 716-933-0187.

Miner's Cabin built by Gold Miner

Miner’s Cabin in Franklinville was built by a miner that returned home after making it good during the gold rush era of the west coast. The building is not a cabin either but a three story house of Queen Anne design.
