The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in your life to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite and the exhilaration of the catch!

HO! HO! HO! The holidays are fast approaching and there's no better way to get into the spirit than by spending some time in Allegany State Park. Join the Environmental Education Department on Saturday, December 7th for a fun, festive, family event- Saturday with Santa!

In this, the season of giving, we are asking event participants to bring non-perishable food items and/or an unwrapped toy to be donated to a local food pantry and Toys for Tots. This is sure to be a great day! Don't miss out!

Come help start off the holiday season downtown with local merchants, train rides all day, Annual tree lighting ceremony, Holiday Spirit Parade and a festive atmosphere for the whole family. Hailing from Buffalo, NY, Cami is a versatile singer, songwriter, and actress. She gained national fame as a semi-finalist on Season 19 of The Voice.
