Experience the rich cultural heritage of the Haudenosaunee (Seneca) people through art, craft, and storytelling on August 12th, starting at 1pm at the Quaker Picnic Shelter at Allegany State Park.
Join Bernadette Scott, a proud Haudenosaunee (Seneca) woman and member of the Deer Clan, for an afternoon of traditional Seneca art and culture. Learn about the art and history behind traditional crafts like cornhusk dolls, flowers, baskets, and Haudenosaunee social dancing and even try your hand at making your own corn husk doll!
The Enchanted Mountains Horse Series features an exciting game show on Friday nights, and performance classes on both Saturday and Sunday.
Attendees can enjoy a variety of treats from the food concession stand and explore offerings from various clothing and tack vendors. Additionally, each weekend typically includes at least one charitable fundraiser to support a worthy cause or individual in need.
Spectators are always welcome!
