Celebrate opening night of the Allegany Santa House with Santa's arrival by the Allegany Fire Department. This is a free event to come see Santa, and enjoy a beautiful decorated Santa House with Elf Shack containing basket raffles to help support this community event.

Thursday 6/27: the carnival is open from 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM. Water fights are planned for 6:30 PM in front of the fire station. Registration starts at 6:00. The "Sticktights" band will be playing around 7:00 PM.

Spring is here! Join an Allegany State Park Naturalist for a "Signs of Spring Evening Walk" explaining Allegany State Park's blossoming spring critters on Wednesday, April 23rd from 6:30-8:00pm. Participants will be treated to some early signs of spring that may include display flight of American Woodcock, chorusing amphibians, newly emerged spring plants and much more. Come early and celebrate Earth Day with making bird feeders using recyclable materials. Earth Day is all about environmental stewardship, and this activity is a meaningful way to reduce waste and support local wildlife.
