Hinsdale is a town at the eastern border of Cattaraugus County, New York. The town was named after another location: Hinsdale, New Hampshire.
First Day Bike. Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at Camp Allegany at 11:00 am on January 1, 2025. The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. Participants may split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. The Town of Franklinville is an interior town, located in the northeast quadrant of the county.
Ellicottville was named in honor of Joseph Ellicott, an agent of the Holland Land Company, was formed from Ischua in 1820. A portion of Ashford and East Otto were taken in 1824, and 1858 respectively.

Randolph is a quaint, historic town and the heart of the New York's Amish Trail.
The Town of Randolph contains a hamlet called Randolph. The town also contains part of the hamlet of East Randolph, which is also partially located in the Town of Conewango.
Gowanda is a town and village that is in Cattaraugus County and Erie County.
Gowanda was settled in 1810 by Turner Aldrich and incorporated as Gowanda in 1848. The name "Gowanda" came from the Seneca Indian phrase of "a valley among the hills" or "under the cliffs."
