Want to work off some of the turkey or treats; or just spend some time outdoors with other biking families? Join us as we take an evening ride along the Red House Bike Path. Meet at Camp Allegany at 6:15 pm with the ride starting at 6:30 pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult and wear a helmet. You do not have to have a fat bike for this ride, but you will need a headlamp or a bike light. Please, no balance bikes, or bikes with training wheels.
First Day Bike. Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at Camp Allegany at 11:00 am on January 1, 2025. The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. Participants may split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. Kids day at the Fannie Bartlett house is on December 7th from noon -3pm. Kids will have the opportunity to visit with Santa from 1pm -3pm.
This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.
