Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean.

Kids day at the Fannie Bartlett house is on December 7th from noon -3pm. Kids will have the opportunity to visit with Santa from 1pm -3pm.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.

This Veterans Day, November 11th from 2-4 pm, honor our heroes by joining the Citizens Advocating Memorial Preservation (C.A.M.P) and historian Ed Brodbeck for a FREE special event at the Civil War Memorial on the corner of Court and Seventh in Little Valley. As they pay tribute to those who have served our nation, Ed Brodbeck will bring history to life, portraying a typical Union soldier from the Civil War.

Beat the winter blues and join us for a winter filled with fun indoor and outdoor activities. Allegany State Park and the Pat McGee Trail will be bustling with activities provided by the Allegany Region Environmental Educators. 

Beaver Pond Hike- Meet at 1:00 p.m. at Camp Allegany and hike to the Bova beaver ponds and learn more about these industrious creatures.

Calling all car enthusiasts! Bring your ride or just your appetite for Cruise Nights at Fatties Creamery & Grill every Thursday from 5pm - 8pm. Join an easy going paint party where no talent is required but you are more than welcome to get creative. You will be guided step by step so you can relax, unwind and enjoy the evening. The paint party is scheduled for August 22nd from 6-8pm and is $42 per painter. There are limited spots so sign up soon.

All supplies are included. Bring a drink and some snacks if you would like, though light refreshments will be provided. This event is intended for ages 13 and up.
