Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels Free Tour
Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels Free Tours available on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Fridays of the month. No reservations necessary. Come and discover the beauty of the southern tier's Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels in Olean, NY. The 33 Munich-style windows are some of the finest domestically-produced windows in the nation. Pope Frances designated the church as a Minor Basilica on February 14, 2017 for its exquisite art, architecture and history. Group tours are also available by calling 716 372 4841.

"Gogh" to the Pumpkin Patch Paint Party
Sip, Snack and splatter some joy at the "Gogh" to the Pumpkin Patch Paint Party in Little Valley, NY.
Join an easy going paint party where no talent is required but you are more than welcome to get creative. You will be guided step by step so you can relax, unwind and enjoy the evening. The paint party is scheduled for August 22nd from 6-8pm and is $42 per painter. There are limited spots so sign up soon.
All supplies are included. Bring a drink and some snacks if you would like, though light refreshments will be provided. This event is intended for ages 13 and up.

First Day Bike 2026
Join Next Level Mountain Biking for the first "bike" of the year!
Meet at Camp Allegany at 11am on January 1st, 2026. The pace and length of the ride will be moderate or determined by the riders. Participants may split into two different groups so that no one gets left behind.
Fat Tire bikes are advised, given the conditions of the trails that may be present.

The Tri-County Arts Council is hosting a Butternut Squash Turkey Carving workshop with the renowned artist and TV personality, Eric Jones! Join Eric on November 12th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and learn the intricacies of carving from a master. Ages 12 and up are welcome.

Step Right Up at the Cattaraugus County Fair
We think this is the best, small fair with cotton candy, fried food, rides, animal shows, and live entertainment, are all available at the Cattauragus County Fair. Make plans to catch the demolition derby, monster trucks, or a concert. Have some good old fashioned fun! The fair is held yearly, either from the end of July into the first week of August.
Note: Unlike some other county fairs, most of the rides are free with your admission!
Trip to Space
Go on a simulated space mission to Mars, a Comet, or Earth at the Challenger Learning Center. This is a hands-on learning facility specializing in science, technology, math and engineering to spark youth interest and joy. They also offer camps in the summer and fun, educational events throughout the year.
