Gowanda is a a beautifully quaint community nestled among the hills surrounding Cattaraugus Creek and is coming together for a Christmas Celebration. Come help start off the holiday season downtown with local merchants, train rides all day, Annual tree lighting ceremony, Holiday Spirit Parade and a festive atmosphere for the whole family. Of course we can not forget that Santa and all his helpers will be there to help us celebrate this joyous time of year! Mark your calendars! 

Join the Olean Community Theatre as they present Cabaret- Heroes vs. Villains. An interactive Cabaret Show Experience.

Tickets - $10 

If you love snowboarding, this is the event for you. Great for spectating! Vendor Village and cookout on the Champagne Sundeck at the Yodeler Lodge. 

Discounted lift tickets for competitors and lodging are available. Assumption of risk form must be signed by a parent if competitor is under 18.

From crowd favorites like "Landslide" and "Rhiannon" to rock anthems like "Go Your Own Way" and "Don't Stop", this tribute show captures the spirit and soul of one of the world's most beloved bands. 

Gowanda’s Historic Hollywood Theatre proudly presents MR. BRIGHTSIDE!- the ultimate KILLERS experience!

Mr. Brightside: The Ultimate Killers Experience is the premier tribute band from Niagara Falls, NY, delivering electrifying performances of The Killers’ greatest hits. Fronted by Rob Bilson, we bring the iconic sound and energy of The Killers to life!! This show will be held on Saturda, May 3rd at 7 pm.

Sip, Snack and splatter some joy at the "Gogh" to the Pumpkin Patch Paint Party in Little Valley, NY.

Join an easy going paint party where no talent is required but you are more than welcome to get creative. You will be guided step by step so you can relax, unwind and enjoy the evening. The paint party is scheduled for August 22nd from 6-8pm and is $42 per painter. There are limited spots so sign up soon.

All supplies are included. Bring a drink and some snacks if you would like, though light refreshments will be provided. This event is intended for ages 13 and up.

The Ellicottvilles Christmas Stroll was created in 1987 by a group of citizens who wanted to organize such an event in the village. After brainstorming over coffee, it was decided that they wanted a live nativity scene with children dressed as angels and shepherds, who walked around the village and met at the gazebo. There, the baby Jesus was presented and caroling presided.

Join in on this great opportunity to learn about migratory species and birding as a hobby with a birding walk hosted by Tim Baird, president of the Cattaraugus Bird Club. 

Join Tim from 8:00am - 9:00am on either Saturday, May 3rd or May 17th, for a great morning walk along the beautiful property at Pfeiffer Nature Center, fun for all ages!
