Come join Santa and Mrs. Claus as they officially light the town's holiday decorations! This festive Annual Santa Claus Lane Parade is held annually on the Friday after Thanksgiving and the traditional kick-off to the holiday season. Santa will be in attendance and light up thousands of lights in Lincoln Park and downtown Olean when he parades through town in celebration.

All are welcomed to the 2023 Christmas In Allegany Santa House season!

Saturday November 25th starts the first of many days Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting our house.

Santa will be escorted by the Allegany Police and Fire Department to our house, where he will greet all visitors. Basket raffles will be avaliable for people to buy tickets to help support our community event.

Stop by Ellicottville Brew Co. in Little Valley on Sunday, February 2nd, from 11 AM to 2 PM, for a morning filled with joy, mimosas, and creativity! Enjoy a mouth-watering brunch buffet, design your own floral arrangement with guidance from Swan St. Florist, and listen to live music by The Son Duo. Browse unique gifts and products from local vendors and enjoy specialty drinks at our cash bar. It's the perfect way to spend a delightful Sunday morning!

Immerse yourself in the holiday magic at Gowanda's Historic Hollywood Theatre on December 7th, 2024, at 2:00 PM, with a spectacular performance by The Springville Jazz Orchestra.

Gowanda is a a beautifully quaint community nestled among the hills surrounding Cattaraugus Creek and is coming together for a Christmas Celebration. Come help start off the holiday season downtown with local merchants, train rides all day, Annual tree lighting ceremony, Holiday Spirit Parade and a festive atmosphere for the whole family. Of course we can not forget that Santa and all his helpers will be there to help us celebrate this joyous time of year! Mark your calendars! 

Spring is here and so is the annual spring craft and vendor show! There will be over 35 different vendors to shop from and a chinese auction available. The Lunch Bus, a local favorite food truck will also be at the event!

Music in the Park Returns July 25th, 2024 featuring Kokomo Time Band 

They will be playing a collection of festive, feel good music including 50's - 70's Oldies, Cajun - Tex - Mex, and Fun Beach Party Music. Check out the band at https://www.facebook.com/funbandnumber1/ 

Visit the Fannie Bartlett House on July 12th for their "Vintage Fashion Show" event! It will feature "uniforms" of all kinds and period women's dress to go along with military years. Presale tickets are available for $20.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.

The Great Valley Volunteer Fire Company is hosting a Halloween Party!

Doors open at 6:00pm and the band, Remedy, will play 7:00pm-11:00pm.
