The Tri-County Arts Council is hosting a Butternut Squash Turkey Carving workshop with the renowned artist and TV personality, Eric Jones! Join Eric on November 12th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and learn the intricacies of carving from a master. Ages 12 and up are welcome.

Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels Free Tours available on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Fridays of the month. No reservations necessary. Come and discover the beauty of the southern tier's Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels in Olean, NY.  The 33 Munich-style windows are some of the finest domestically-produced windows in the nation.  Pope Frances designated the church as a Minor Basilica on February 14, 2017 for its exquisite art, architecture and history. Come out to Pumpkinville on either September 20th or October 4th for an exclusive Pumpkin Carving class with the one and only, Eric Jones! 

Eric Jones is an Olean, NY native and celebrated sculptor and caricature artist! He has been featured on The Food Network's Halloween Wars, holds the 2023 Guinness World Record for carving the larges jack-o-lantern, and won Season 3 of The Food Network's Outrageous Pumpkins! 

Head over to Camp Allegany on October 19th at 6:30 PM for a spectacular evening under the stars at Allegany State Park.

Spring is here! Join an Allegany State Park Naturalist for a "Signs of Spring Evening Walk" explaining Allegany State Park's blossoming spring critters on Wednesday, April 23rd from 6:30-8:00pm. Participants will be treated to some early signs of spring that may include display flight of American Woodcock, chorusing amphibians, newly emerged spring plants and much more. Come early and celebrate Earth Day with making bird feeders using recyclable materials. Earth Day is all about environmental stewardship, and this activity is a meaningful way to reduce waste and support local wildlife.

This is the third night of Christmas In Allegany at the Allegany Santa House. This is a free event to come visit Santa in his beautifully decorated Santa House with Elf Shack behind selling basket raffle tickets to help support this yearly tradition.

Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean.

Kids day at the Fannie Bartlett house is on December 7th from noon -3pm. Kids will have the opportunity to visit with Santa from 1pm -3pm.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.

Spring is here and so is the annual spring craft and vendor show! There will be over 35 different vendors to shop from and a chinese auction available. The Lunch Bus, a local favorite food truck will also be at the event! 

Join the Regina A.
