Come join Santa and Mrs. Claus as they officially light the town's holiday decorations! This festive Annual Santa Claus Lane Parade is held annually on the Friday after Thanksgiving and the traditional kick-off to the holiday season. Santa will be in attendance and light up thousands of lights in Lincoln Park and downtown Olean when he parades through town in celebration.

The Great Valley Volunteer Fire Company is hosting a Halloween Party!

$10 per person

Doors open at 6:00pm and the band, Remedy, will play 7:00pm-11:00pm.

Saturday November 25th starts the first of many days Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting our house.

Santa will be escorted by the Allegany Police and Fire Department to our house, where he will greet all visitors. Basket raffles will be avaliable for people to buy tickets to help support our community event.

Join Gowanda for a great day in the village filled with classic cars, community, and fun for the whole family! Whether you’re showing off your ride or just coming to check them out, this is always one of Gowanda’s favorite events of the year.

Entry Fee: $15 per vehicle

Stroll through rows of beautiful cars, meet local owners, and enjoy a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere right in the heart of Gowanda. There will be plenty to see and something for everyone!

Visit the Fannie Bartlett House on July 12th for their "Vintage Fashion Show" event! It will feature "uniforms" of all kinds and period women's dress to go along with military years. Presale tickets are available for $20.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.
