Celebrate the Holiday Season with a Living Nativity, complete with a camel, all in the Village. Ellicottville's A Christmas Stroll was created in 1987 by a group of citizens who wanted to organize such an event in the village. After brainstorming over coffee, it was decided that they wanted a live nativity scene with children dressed as angels and shepherds, who walked around the village and met at the gazebo. There, the baby Jesus was presented and caroling presided. The tradition has continued on for the past 37 years.

Quick Center for the Arts for an exciting community event on Saturday April 26, from 11am - 3pm; featuring a day of music, dance, art activities, and community engagement that is free and open to all ages. Beer is Back! The 18th annual Beer and Wine Festival is scheduled for Saturday, November 12th. With many of the region's best craft brewers, wineries and cideries in attendance you can sample your favorites, plus try out several new and unique flavors. Add live entertainment, food trucks and 1500 of your closest friends, it's an event not to be missed.

The format was adjusted so no there are two sessions in order to allow guests to have more space in the lodge. The first session is 1pm - 4pm and the second is 5pm - 8pm.

Come out to Allegany State Park on October 5th at 9:30am to experience "Autumn in Allegany"! 

This FREE event will be held in the Red House Area of the park at the Administration Building and is perfect for all ages! Participants will learn basic watercolor techniques and create their own masterpieces under the guidance of naturalists. All materials are provided, so you just need to bring your creativity!

The Challenger Learning Center in Allegany is hosting a magical event where kids, and parents, can dress up as their favorite wizards and participate in over 30 STEAM activities on October 26th, from 5:30-7:30pm. 

Cost: $5 per person 

*If you register by October 22nd, your child will receive a special letter from Hogwarts via email that you can print out!
