It's spring in the Enchanted Mountains, which means... our days get longer, flowers are blooming, and the warmer weather allows us to spend more time enjoying the outdoors! Here's a list of ways you can be active and enjoy spring in the Enchanted Mountains.

Hike in the Night

Venture on an unguided walk through the trails at Griffis Sculpture Park as they are illuminated with colorful and theatrical lighting, creating a truly unique experience. 

Their "Night Lights" event takes place in September and October with performance artists, video projections, and vendors.

Step Right Up at the Cattaraugus County Fair

Cotton candy, fried food, rides, animal shows, and live entertainment, are all available at the Cattauragus County Fair. Make plans to catch the demolition derby, monster trucks, or a concert. Have some good old fashioned fun! The fair is held yearly, the first week in August.

Annual Turkey Trot 2023

Turkey for The Turkey Trot in Olean

Feel good this Thanksgiving by starting your day with a non-timed 5K at St. Bonavenure University with other passionate runners and walkers! Continue that feel good feeling by knowing that the registration fee supports the local food pantry and the Every Kid Deserves the Y fund!

Registration is 8:00am - 8:45am at Murphy Hall. Race starts at 9:00am.
