We think this is the best, small fair with cotton candy, fried food, rides, animal shows, and live entertainment, are all available at the Cattauragus County Fair. Make plans to catch the demolition derby, monster trucks, or a concert. Have some good old fashioned fun! The fair is held yearly, either from the end of July into the first week of August.

Note: Unlike some other county fairs, most of the rides are free with your admission!

Go on a simulated space mission to Mars, a Comet, or Earth at the Challenger Learning Center. This is a hands-on learning facility specializing in science, technology, math and engineering to spark youth interest and joy. They also offer camps in the summer and fun, educational events throughout the year.

The Onöhsagwë:dé Cultural Center is an impressive facility that houses the Seneca-Iroquois National Museum.

The interactive and informational exhibits tell the history of the Seneca, from the Creation Story to present day.

While there are opportunities to touch and listen to certain components of the exhibits, tours are also available and highly recommended.

Play a full round of golf on the virtual greens of an indoor golf simulator. Keep practicing your swing at two locations: Ischua Valley County Club or the YMCA in Olean. 

These are great places to tee off through the winter months, or the summer months when its too wet outside.

Indulge in the smell and taste of maple during the Annual Maple Weekends in New York State. Check out the Maple Weekend events or visit Spragues Maple Farm that's open year-round!

Venture on an unguided walk through the trails at Griffis Sculpture Park as they are illuminated with colorful and theatrical lighting, creating a truly unique experience. 

Their "Night Lights" event takes place in September and October with performance artists, video projections, and vendors.
